DataSetGo's hosting package matrix stands apart from the pre-packaged reseller hosting market in both terms of simplicity and capability. First of all, DataSetGo owns their own servers - no reseller hosting here. Our servers are rack optimized systems running CentOS Linux with cPanel control panel software, when required. All servers are implemented with mirrored SATA RAID array storage systems to maximize uptime. Actual storage capacity can vary from server to server, depending on the availability of the latest/largest/fastest drives at implementation time. All servers use Genuine Intel Pentium 4 or better CPUs. [The actual individual server specs will change from time to time, following the natural evolution of hardware solutions.]
All of DataSetGo's hosting servers are connected to Cisco-powered, un-capped 100mbps or faster switched uplinks to dual high-speed OC-48's in our data-center. The data-center is linked into the powerful InterNap network [See their site for details about InterNap–they can explain their products better than we can.] In English, all that means hella-fast, reliable connectivity for your site–something the other guys imply but don't usually deliver.
Shared Hosting
By and large, DataSetGo implements mostly shared hosting servers, as that is the greater portion of our customer base. But you'll find no sardine-cans are found here! Our servers are closely monitored to not exceed 25% average load–something we dare you to find from the other guys. When a server reaches 25% load, we close it to new clients and implement additional servers. What that means to you is high availability and a wicked-fast website, equal to or better than what you will find with dedicated servers offered by other hosting companies. [Do the research–most hosting companies throttle bandwidth to 10mbs or LESS–on top of overselling server space. How else do you think they can make a profit selling hosting for $5 per month?]
